Sign Up to Volunteer at Summit 2024!

Plans have been made for the upcoming 2023-24 Awana year. Journey clubs all across the United States and Canada will begin to meet in the next few weeks.

Our hope is that you have included Summit on your schedule of events for the year. Come see the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, the wondrous caverns around Luray, and the crowning jewel of God’s creation, how God is working in the lives of youth today.

There is no need to “sit in the bleachers”. You can have a close-up look at the testimony of these youth and their leaders by volunteering to serve during Summit 2024. There are several opportunities to serve during Summit. You can view potential opportunities on the Summit website and then sign up to serve today!

We hope to see you there!

Summit Games Video Contest

Do you and your friends want a chance to win $50 off your Summit Registration?

Hi we are the Ramsli family, your summit games coordinators. We need your help!

In efforts to grow our Summit attendance, we believe that having a video to showcase each game would help spread the word and get more churches involved. That’s where you come in! We are looking for videos explaining and demonstrating the rules of each game. The updated rule book can be found on the Summit website.

So make a fun video with you and your friends competing against each other, and teaching how to play and how you can get disqualified, we suggest a slow walk through that highlights the rules and how to be disqualified, and ending it all off with a full speed clean run through. If you have any questions please email us at summitawanagames@gmail.com

When you are done, send all videos along with the Summit student consent form, (don’t worry about filling out event location, event dates or personal medical information) signed by the participant’s parents to summitawanagames@gmail.com. Include names of each student showcasing each event ie: girls basketball relay Abigail Adams, Dolly Madison, Molly Pitcher, Deborah Sampson, Sybil Ludington. Team basketball Abigail Adams, Dolly Madison, Molly Pitcher, Deborah Sampson, Sybil Ludington, George Washington, Paul Revere, Nathanael Greene, John Paul Jones, Thomas Jefferson.

Remember, wear the proper Awana games attire: long pants, full length t shirt, and tennis shoes.  The best video of each game will be posted on our social media pages and website. Each student featured in the videos has an opportunity to win $50 off their Summit registration! Each person can be featured in multiple videos but will only be able to win one award. The deadline is October 31st, 2023!
